Goodordering, an independent bike accessory company located in Hackney, has launched a range of 100 per cent recycled plastic bottle-based cycling luggage following a £50,000 funding package from HSBC UK.
With customer increasingly drawn to ethical products and demonstrated to pay a premium, business founder Jacqui Ma struck a deal with HSBC UK that has enabled Jacqui to progress to the manufacturing stage.
As a result, Goodordering has struck up retail partnerships for the new products with KIDLY UK and Not on the Highstreet, as well as growing its customer base. Though originally designed as bike bags, the range has proven popular with non-cycling commuters too – not only as an ethical product, but for their spacious, functional and waterproof design.
