Making a Kickstarter Video

By Jacqui Ma

Last weekend we embarked on an ambitious one-day project to film our video for our upcoming Kickstarter campaign. I must say it was a very busy day. But thanks to a lot of good friends and helpers, we pulled it off. Here are some photos from the day.

We filmed a lot of the shots at Lock 7 bicycle shop on Broadway Market, East London. They were very kind and let us rearrange the furniture for this shot below.

Sam (below) taking a break from riding around in circles down random streets for about an hour!

Getting some 'bag porn' shots in front of the nice timber backdrop of Lock 7.

A guest appearance to model the mini backpack by none other than Otto-li. Yes we did have to bribe him with museli bars.

Me doing some 'waving the bags around' shots in the bike shop. Why did i wear those glasses!?

Thanks to everyone who helped out on the day and also with the editing. We are still waiting with baited breath to see the outcome so fingers crossed.

  • It is so cool to see your process of making a Kickstarter video! I would love to make a video too for my secret project that I’m working on. The video and presentation of the idea is so important, so I am going to put a lot of time and effort into the video. Have any tips for someone who is new to the Kickstarter thing?
