My Recent Personal Crochet Projects

I've always loved crochet, especially the way a simple ball of yarn can become something completely unexpected. Recently, I've been experimenting with different crochet projects, from tiny decorative doilies and playful food-inspired designs to bags, accessories and little handmade gifts. This is a collection of my recent crochet projects and ideas I've been enjoying, along with inspiration for anyone looking for fun crochet patterns, small crochet projects and creative things to make with yarn. Whether you're an experienced crocheter or just looking for your next project, I hope you'll find something here to inspire you.

Patch idea 2

A bright crochet project bag for keeping craft essentials organised. Made from polyester yarn to be water safe with vintage charms hanging from it.

Mini crocheted doilies become charming handmade keyrings and keepsakes, another one i supplied to the Museum of the Home in East London.

Amigurumi crochet sushi brings a playful twist to food-inspired crochet. Fun to make, they come apart so you can construct your favourite sushi items.

Tiny crocheted bread keyrings make fun accessories for food lovers. Bringing an everyday item from the home to your pocket - i named the series Pocket Heirlooms.

Decorative crochet lace showcases intricate stitches and contrasting colours. Experimenting with the scalloped edges and making a little wearable neckerchief.

A colourful crochet blanket in progress, made with bold stripes and checks. One of the very first things i ever made during the xmas period in Sweden a couple of years ago.

I made this striped scarf for my brother Kevin for his birthday. I stitched his initials onto it, giving it a personalised touch.

A mixture of different colours and patterns that i make up as i go along, using up random yarn and trying out new patterns.

I made this shawl for me and experimented with creating a triangle shaped scarf. Again the colours are the main thing i love about this one.

Mini crochet sushi keyrings turn Japanese food into playful yarn creations. I added keyring attachments to these too so they could be used as bag charms.

A green and white striped crochet scarf with a bold handmade look. I got the hang of the scalloped edges and love the colour combo of brown and pink.

I made this beanie for my son, Max who requested little wire filled antennas coming out of the top.

I designed this bonnet with a little peak to keep me warm at Spitalfields market. I like to double up the yarn, giving it a colourful textured feel and makes it nicer to crochet with thinner polyester yarn
