Recently i was out in Victoria park in east london with my family. Its a rare opportunity to co-ordinate days out in the park with my brother, his wife and their kids. Weekends are always packed with activities, birthday parties. and work so to also have my younger brother town with his photography skills is a real treat.

Is it a bag or is it a pillow? its a billow! (BAG + PILLOW)😊 Conceived lying in a park between lock downs in London, I saw lots of people carrying their pillows to the park… and bingo the billow was born! 

This oversized bag is large enough to fit large items such as picnic blankets, coats, shoes, jackets and enough food to feed a big family.

When you reach your picnic destination, this bag converts into a pillow. With its padded construction and simple, seamless panels you never have to take your pillow with you to the park ever again.

The outer fabric is padded (like a pillow) and is also waterproof. It has 3 wine or bottle pockets inside plus an additional zip pocket for storing valuables. It also comes with its very own inflatable pillow which you can blow up easily in case you need more filling to create the perfect park pillow.

Have you ever gone to a picnic, eaten all your food and drunk all your drinks, and then feel like a little nap to soak up some sun rays. So, what do you do? you grab a few jumpers, maybe a pair of shoes,  or a bag lying around and try to plump it up to make it into a pillow shape.

Is this successful ? well it can be ok, it can do the trick ok, but really. its never going to be like a proper pillow that you can relax on. You can put all the spare un needed items inside the bag to plump it up and relax. The reason this makes a good pillow is that it is padded with a quilted construction. There are no pockets on the outside, you don't want any sharp keys poking into your ear while you are trying to drift off to la la land.

Shoulder straps

You can sling the billow over your shoulder to transport it to the park. The straps are long enough to wear over one shoulder. There are also additional straps that allow you to attach this bag to your bicycle pannier rack.

The size of the billow 

The dimensions of the billow were specifically designed to be the same as a standard UK / USA pillow at 66cm (wide) x 45cm (high). Inside the bag is a slip pocket designed specifically to carry 3 bottles of drink or wine. This is for transporting your things to the park. You can even put some cushions inside the billow to use at the park. You might not want to. get them dirty, so keeping them inside the billow will keep your bed pillow or cushion nice and clean.
