We are visiting Sydney right now, trying to help the cause here of encouraging more people to get on bikes in this amazing-weathered city. We brought our bags all the way from London to The Grounds Market in Sydney to show our bags to the inner city dwellers and visitors of Alexandria last weekend.

We teamed up with our favourite Sydney stockist, I like your Bike who sell a wide range of cycling accessories, including our bags. Stephen Jones, the founder is a regular resident there so i set up pitch next door to him. 😀

The market is situated in the 'Mill house' of the grounds of what used to be an industrial piece of land that has been converted into the most wonderful garden cafe, coffee roastery, petting zoo and restaurant. It is like an urban green house that has sprouted up in the middle of a carpark. 

One of the reasons it was easy enough to do the market for the weekend is because i could bring the family with me, and they could also hang out with me a bit for the day. They took it literally and brought chairs and actually brought lunch and came and sat with me on the saturday - including my parents :)

It was practically a Ma family reunion at one point during the day 🤪

Stephen is on a mission to get more Sydney-siders cycling. His range of products not only make cycling more fun but more funky too with some great brands like Cycloc, Bookman, Road Runner, Carradice, Bello, Look Mum No Hands, Veeka gloves and Pacific & Co socks which are so amazing. 

This little girl was one of our customers on day 1, she loved the 3 in 1 Market shopper in black and white and literally begged her mum to get it for her. I think the mum was probably going to borrow it off her too. 

The Grounds is well known in the instagram world, and when visiting the market you couldn't help tripping over vicarious poses where visitors were trying to achieve those perfect selfies. The place is definitely instagram heaven, don't forget your instagram husband or wife when you visit!
