On the 19-22 September, we participated in the London Design Festival within the London Design Fair held in East London at the Truman Brewery. The design festival consists of events scattered around London including Design Junction, 100% Design, London Design Fair and Focus/19. The festival itself attracts visitors from all around the world, it is an event of epic proportions showcasing new design from all over the world across a wide range of product categories from homeware to jewellery, interaction design to craft.
We were lucky enough to be curated into a small selection by U.S superstars Design Milk whose website and IG account represent everything good in the world of design, graphics, architecture and more! In THIS article you can see the 13 brands that we participated alongside, including brands from all corners of the globe.

We soft launched our brand new re-useable lunch bag made from Tyvek. For all those times you might leave the office to grab some lunch or to take your lunch to the park from the office. This bag keeps everything cool or warm and when you are finished you can just fold it up and put it in your pocket :) The feedback was really positive from the show. We hope to start selling at the end of October through our own website and selected retailers for the nice round sum of £10. Any more feedback on this is more than welcome!
On show (and for sale) were our cycling and commuting bags including the Classic Collection and the newer Monochrome collection as well as our Magnetic glasses that are now in short supply.
We managed to get a group photo on day 1, look at us all - optimistic and fresh faced before embarking on our 4 day journey, fortunately with the help of some nice Campari cocktails.
Our area within the London Design Fair was bright and airy and home to a unique pop-up concept conceived by Design Milk where customers were able to buy there and then. This set up is great for emerging brands because it helps to get real time feedback, where customers are literally putting their money where their mouth is.
This was the transportation to the show each day, just a 10 min ride across Columbia Rd and down Brick Lane to the Truman Brewery, keeping it local.
Tokyobike London lent us one of their lovely bicycles to help with our display. This always makes it a bit easier for people to understand how our bags make commuting that little bit more fun and easy. Our customers take it easy when riding and don't often get a sweat up and Tokyobike shares our philosophy.
I loved every minute of being at the design show from seeing old customers and meeting a bunch of new ones. I have to shout out to all 12 other brands showing with me within the Design Milk family and Lucy from Design Milk for pulling everything together.
