Celine
French power fashion house Celine are known for their sexy but playful minimalist style. The brand has been owned by LVMH group since 1996. It was founded in 1945 by Céline Vipiana. Over the years the creative directors of Celine have also included Michael Kors and Ivana Omazic.
Opening Ceremony
Opening Ceremony is a fantastic New York brand that brings together high and street fashion. It was founded in 2002 by fashion designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. The brand designs and creates its own products and also retails other emerging fashion labels. Opening Ceremony is known for exotic runway shows and advocating global issues. Unfortunately during Covid19 the were forced to close their physical stores due to financial reasons.
Miu Miu
This is from their Pre-summer 2017 collection. You can see the direction going in a slightly Gucci-esque direction here. Mixing the laundry bag aesthetic with a hotch potch of different styles, textures and fabrics invokes a sort of mad eccentric rich woman look which is so well known these days through Gucci. I think this style is very much an urban, Ridley Road London Look and i love it a lot.
