This position is for a work at home assistant to help on a range of tasks related to business development, marketing, social media and admin.
The job will start at about 10hours per week and may grow to more in the future.
Goodordering, East London bag company was established in 2012 by Jacqui Ma. We make, distribute and sell cycling bags. The company has grown and my ethos is all about flexibility and self-motivation. Therefore I’m looking for someone who can act as assistant on a range of jobs, but work from your own home.
There may also be some times when you may be needed to work with me, attend an event or do something requiring getting out there and/or running errands but the majority of the work could be done in your own home at the times that suit you.
I imagine a great candidate would be someone who perhaps has their own family requiring flexibility, but who has previously worked in a professional environment. The job will be paid hourly at £10 with the number of hours and tasks agreed each week.
As this role will require a bit of training, I’d like to hire the right person with a longer term view of the role who can grow with me and the company. So someone who may be looking to work with me for at least 6 months.
Some of the jobs may include:
- Data collating /client lists
- Writing newsletters
- Researching visuals for social media
- Market research and data collection
- Data analysis
- Processing orders, sending invoices
Don’t worry, I will provide detailed training on all tasks as required and it would be great to meet in person from time to time to ensure a smooth running. So, it would be ideal if you are located not too far from East London or are ok with travelling to east London as needed.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills or experience
- A good eye for graphics and design/fashion
- Good attention for detail and proficient at writing copy
- Strong communication skills with a can do attitude
- Skilled in Microsoft Suite Office and Excel
- Highly competent with Google Drive / Calendar / Docs / Sheets
- Confident with talking on the phone
