Interior inspiration: Multi-coloured painted walls

Interior inspiration: Multi-coloured painted walls

I am in the middle of doing up a house on a budget and i’ve been researching using paint to add personality to a small space whilst still being high end and sophisticated. Here are some of the images i’ve found inspiring.

In hallways the frame colour which goes throughout the space contrasts with the different colour choices for the different rooms.

This one uses a pop colour around the door frames which i think looks fab, using three colours seems to work best when going for a multi coloured look.

Moving into more bedroom concepts, this one below cuts a horizontal line along the perimeter of the room.

This one combines warm red with rich timber in the accessories contrasting with a highly contrasting warm white wall.

Sometimes patterns are a way to bring in colour, the more simple and geometric, the more it is a colour rather than pattern statement.

Clashing colours add a contemporary , edgy look freshening up the concept, tying in furniture with your colour scheme makes it even more attractive.

Using doors as a highlight colour is a more subtle way of combing multiple colours in your interior.

These are ideas that you can execute at all budget levels, be bold and break out of single colour magnolia wall paint!
